When we go for a movie, many of us never enter into the movie-hall without a big tub of Popcorn. Popcorn is a great snack to eat during movie and cricket. This healthy snack is very rich in fiber and help to improve digestive system. Research scientists say popcorn is rich in polyphone, which is an antioxidant that can help to prevent cancer and heart disease. See how to make crunchy popcorns at home.
Ingredients required:
• ¼ cup Corn Seeds
• 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 2 tablespoons butter
• Salt to taste
Method of preparation of Pop corn::
• Take a heavy-bottom pan with a lid.
• Heat oil in the pan. Take enough oil to pop all seeds properly. Oil should not too little that the popcorn might burn and not too much that it will be too oily.
• Keep the flame at medium heat. When it’s just smoking, Add corn seeds.
• Quickly Place the lid on the pan. Lid should not cover the pan completely. Keep the lid about 1 inch open.
• You will hear the corn seeds popping and hitting the lid of the pan.
• Shake the pan to avoid the popcorn from burning.
• When the popping stops remove pan from the burner.
• In another bowl mix butter and salt properly.
• Quickly pour this mixture to the popcorn after removing the pan from heat
• Put the popcorn in a bowl and enjoy your movie.
• To give some flavor to you popcorn you can add black paper powder or chilli powder.
• If you like cheese popcorn, use cheese instead of butter.
Note: Butter is optional. You can avoid it to make low calories popcorn.

1 cup butter popcorn: 130 calories
