Easy Recipe of Bread Bonda

 

 

It takes almost 20 minutes for preparing tasty snack as bread bonda.

 

 

Ingredients ( For 2 people):

 

 

Potato (medium size) – 2 pieces

Onion- 1 pieces

 

 

Bread – 4 slices

 

 

Curry leaves- 4 to 6 pieces

 

 

Oil- 3 tbsp

 

 

Brown mustard seeds- ½ tsp

 

 

Green chilies- 1piece

 

 

Turmeric powder- ½ tsp

 

 

Red chili powder- ½ tsp

 

 

Garam Masala- ¼ tsp

 

 

Water-2 cups

 

 

Salt to taste

 

Bread Bonda recipe 

 

Method of Preparation:

 

 

1. Boil the potatoes and mash after peeling them.

 

 

2. Take a pan and pour oil into it.

 

 

3. Heat the oil and then add curry leaves and brown mustard seeds to it.

 

 

4. Add chopped green chilies.

 

 

5. Add chopped onions and fry till it turns light brown.

 

 

6. Add to it turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala and salt.

 

 

7. Saute for one minute.

 

 

8. Add mashed potatoes to it and mix everything well.

 

 

9. Leave it to cook for five minutes on low flame.

 

 

10. Keep the ready stuffing aside for cooling.

 

 

11. Take bread slice and dip in water for few seconds.

 

 

12. Squeeze the water.

 

 

13. Put the stuffing into it and wrap it in shape of a ball.

 

 

14. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.

 

 

15. Fry the bread balls in low flame till they are brown in color.

 

 

Now your yummy bread bonda is ready to be served hot with tomato ketchup.
